Bubble diffuser product introduction

1. Content introduction

Oxygen diffuser is a necessary equipment for aeration and oxygenation of drainage water. Aeration is a means of intense contact between air and water, with the purpose of dissolving oxygen in the air into the water. It also has some other important functions such as mixing and stirring. Oxygen in the air is transferred to water through aeration, and oxygen undergoes mass transfer from the gas phase to the liquid phase. This is the theory of mass transfer diffusion.

2. Application scenarios

Fine bubble diffusers are widely used in water treatment, wastewater treatment, sewage treatment, brewing industry, aquaculture and other fields. Industrial wastewater and urban domestic sewage from petrochemical, printing and dyeing, textile, food, brewing, pharmaceutical, tanning, papermaking, coking, steel mills, power plants and other enterprises. Different types of fine diffuser should be selected according to different industries.

3. Type differences

If air bubble diffusers are distinguished by shape, the common ones can be divided into disc diffuser and tube diffuser.

3.1 Disc diffuser usually consists of one or more rotating disks, which are usually located at the bottom of a body of water. The gas is introduced from the bottom through a rotating disk and then dispersed into the water, increasing the contact surface area for oxygen.

3.2 Tube diffuser consists of a series of gas tubes or nozzles from which gas is sprayed into the water, creating bubbles and delivering oxygen into the water body.

3.3 Compared

Compared with tube air diffuser, the stirring performance of disc air diffuser is not as good as that of tube air diffuser, because the aeration part of disc diffuser aerators only has an aeration disk, while tube diffuser aerator is three-dimensional aeration all around. Gas density and direction increase agitation, so disc aeration is slightly inferior in this area.

Secondly, when the fine bubble disc diffuser stops aeration, when it is aerated again, due to the precipitation in the water, the air pressure needs to be increased in the early stage to flush out the sludge. The fine bubble tube diffuser is cylindrical, so when it is aerated again, there will be less sludge sedimentation and less pressure loss. Finally, in terms of project cost, because disk diffuser requires a pipe network, and the pipe network also needs saddle seats to be fixed, and a tubular diffuser is equivalent to installing the aerator on the pipe network, so its cost is naturally lower than that of a disk diffuser.

However, membrane tube diffusers are not omnipotent. Membrane disc diffusers also have their advantages, such as easy maintenance. Since the structure of bubble disc diffuser is relatively simple, they are usually easier to maintain and clean. Maintenance personnel can easily access and inspect the rotating parts of the bubble disc diffuser. It is not as complicated as replacing the membrane skin like a bubble tube diffuser.

4.Functions

Oxygen transfer

The main function of the fine air bubble diffuse is to provide gas dissolved into the liquid to improve the oxygen content in the liquid, thereby promoting biodegradation, oxidation or other chemical reactions. In water treatment, bubble air diffusers are often used to provide oxygen to support the growth of microorganisms, thereby accelerating the decomposition and removal of organic matter.

Suspended Particles

Bubble diffuser create air bubbles that agitate and suspend solid particles suspended in a liquid. This is useful in some industrial processes and water treatment to ensure that particles are evenly dispersed in the liquid and prevent particles from settling or clumping.

Mixing

Fine air diffuser can be used to mix different liquids or evenly disperse additives into liquids. This is often required in chemical engineering and industrial production to ensure the homogeneity and quality of the mixture.

Gas Dissolution

Fine bubble aeration can help dissolve gases into liquids. This is important for some laboratory applications and industrial processes, such as in the beverage industry where carbon dioxide is dissolved into beverages to make sparkling drinks.

Gas delivery and agitation

The bubble generation and agitation action of a fine bubble air diffuser can be used to deliver gas to a target location or create circulation in a liquid. This is useful for certain process requirements.

In short, the function of a fine bubble membrane diffuser is to provide the transportation, mixing, suspension and dissolution of oxygen and other gases to meet the needs of various applications, thereby promoting biological and chemical reactions, improving the properties of liquids, and achieving other specific projects and production targets.

The choice of fine bubble diffuser type depends on the specific application needs, including the depth of the water body, oxygen transfer efficiency requirements, maintenance difficulty and other factors. Different types of fine pore diffusers have their own advantages and limitations, so these factors need to be considered when choosing.
