STRUCTURE & PRINCIPLE OF SLUDGE DEWATERING SCREW PRESS

The spiral stacked body of the dewatering machine is an over-shielding device formed by fixed and traveling rings stacked on top of each other, with the spiral shaft running through it. The concentration section is the front section and the dewatering section is the rear section.

From the thickening section to the dewatering section, the filtration gap formed between the static and moving rings as well as the pitch of the screw shaft gradually decreases.

The rotation of the screw shaft not only transports the sludge from the thickening section to the dewatering section, but also continuously drives the traveling ring to clean the filter gap and prevent clogging.

THE TECHNOLOGY OF SLUDGE DEWATERING PRESS

After the sludge is thickened by gravity in the thickening section, it is conveyed to the dewatering section. With the gradual narrowing of the filtration gap and spacing, as well as the blocking effect of the back-pressure plate, a large internal pressure will be generated, and decreasing in volume, so as to results in full dehydration.

Almost the whole machine is made of 304 stainless steel, and the only wearing parts are screw shaft and floating ring, which maximizes the service life.
